2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee: Power, Speed, and Control

The 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee brings in technology and systems to create a unique driving and handling experience. One system is the Trackhawk. The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk model comes equipped with a Supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8 motor.

The performance that it has achieved with the Trackhawk is impressive. The Grand Cherokee clocked 11.6 seconds on the quarter-mile, and it went from 0 to 60 MPH in a quick 3.5 seconds. The Selec-Track System works in conjunction with all the other packages, but this one is in charge of driving modes. It can handle all road conditions from traditional street driving to towing, snow and ice. The five modes are auto, sport, track, tow, and snow.

The smart technology increases torque, as well. For towing, it will increase torque to the front. The tow mode is set up for up to 7,200 pounds. The snow mode will split 50/50 torque between the rear and front, while the track mode increases rear torque.
